Yeah. I get it, but the description is a "dramatic explanation" that overemphasizes the first word to the detriment of the second. Needs A Better Description as well as a new picture.

I don't think it has to be online; just a demon who contacts you indirectly and tries to get you to fall in love with it, until you go to it/it comes to you and does bad things to you.

It's also Just A Face And A Caption.

There was a Teen Titans Episode where Raven fell for a demon sealed in a book...

I can barely make any details out of the description just by how wordy it is. I can't even think of a suitable image.

That's actually what lead me to this. Any chance there's an image from the episode where the paper version of Malchior is caressing her, or something?

I'm inclined to agree.

It has a Troper Tales page because that's where RPG stories go. And at least one person who thinks that someone who stalked them online might be a demon.

Remember, some people actually believe in the supernatural in real life.

The only image that comes to mind that would work for me would be an obviously supernatural person, using a computer, with some matchmaking site on the screen. I know the Internet part is not required, but I can't think of any other way of conveying the long distance part.

I like the rose picture with the eyes looking out of the book.

I do too, but is it enough to demonstrate the trope? Maybe we should have those two pics together...we could easily crop enough from the first to lose that logo.

I think the book person offering a rose is pretty romantic and give the idea that the book is trying to seduce someone.

It helps that the eyes have a sinister air to them, but are also seductive. Maybe if it was at 350px, it would be clearer.

Maybe crop the top or the left side a bit. Currently the focus is on the rose, while there should ideally be a bit more focus on the eyes in the book.
