I think I should make a trope repair shop thread for this article. Si?
I could barely figure out what the hell it was about. The picture didn't help at all.
Fight. Struggle. Endure. Suffer. LIVE.I think it is "Nonhuman / Demonic Stalker with a Crush Online Edition"?

Becky: Who are you? The Mysterious Stranger: An angel. Huck: What's your name? The Mysterious Stranger: Satan.Yeah. I get it, but the description is a "dramatic explanation" that overemphasizes the first word to the detriment of the second. Needs A Better Description as well as a new picture.
Infinite Tree: an experimental storyI don't think it has to be online; just a demon who contacts you indirectly and tries to get you to fall in love with it, until you go to it/it comes to you and does bad things to you.
There was a Teen Titans Episode where Raven fell for a demon sealed in a book...
I can barely make any details out of the description just by how wordy it is. I can't even think of a suitable image.

...Why does an explicitly supernatural trope have a Troper Tales page?
^ MMORPG-ers who get a little too entranced with their Ogre Inquisitors, perhaps?

That's actually what lead me to this. Any chance there's an image from the episode where the paper version of Malchior is caressing her, or something?
Any suggestions? I'm thinking this is so plot dependent that a picture won't help.
Fight smart, not fair.I'm inclined to agree.
It has a Troper Tales page because that's where RPG stories go. And at least one person who thinks that someone who stalked them online might be a demon.
Remember, some people actually believe in the supernatural in real life.
The only image that comes to mind that would work for me would be an obviously supernatural person, using a computer, with some matchmaking site on the screen. I know the Internet part is not required, but I can't think of any other way of conveying the long distance part.

Everyone Has An Important Job To DoHere's the Malchior/Raven◊ pic. The watermarks should be easy to clear out, they aren't on anything important.
Here's another one where he's making a paper rose.

I like the rose picture with the eyes looking out of the book.
Reality is that, which when you stop believing in it, doesn't go away. -Philip K. DickI do too, but is it enough to demonstrate the trope? Maybe we should have those two pics together...we could easily crop enough from the first to lose that logo.
I think the book person offering a rose is pretty romantic and give the idea that the book is trying to seduce someone.
Reality is that, which when you stop believing in it, doesn't go away. -Philip K. DickIt helps that the eyes have a sinister air to them, but are also seductive. Maybe if it was at 350px, it would be clearer.
Here's a better quality cleaned up version of the rose pic.
Maybe crop the top or the left side a bit. Currently the focus is on the rose, while there should ideally be a bit more focus on the eyes in the book.

But seriously, this image is terrible. Let's get something better.
