You only need to pair them using a USB, after that its your standard wireless controller.
Hardcore Tales fans, I beseech you.
Do you recognize these models and animations from any of the spinoff Tales games?
All the links just take me to other posts. Is that how 4chan is supposed to work? I've never actually looked there before.
EDIT: Yep, it's all fake. Turns out it was all taken from a goddamn pachinko machine of all places.
Glad it never got over to the Smash thread.

I swear, pachinko machines are the worst
Funimation is releasing ''Tales of the Abyss'' on Blu-ray, sub only, on 11/27/18. I thought they were never going to release this.
I finished playing Zestiria, but I'm debating on whether to play the Alisha DLC or move on to Berseria. I generally know how the DLC story goes, so is there anything remotely good about it? All the reviews I read were negative.

Berseria is great. It touches a lot of plot points they were forced to leave out of Zestiria and got expplained in the guidebook before Berseria could tell its story and so got mixed with it.
Skip Alisha DLC.

Every accusation by the GOP is ALWAYS a confession. If you know how the story goes for the DLC, skip it. 90% of it is an incredibly tedious dungeon crawl, and the extra story bits aren’t anything special. Definitely not enough to outweigh the boring gameplay unless you really like playing as Alisha. I got it when it was free for the first month after Zestiria came it, but I don’t think I would've paid $10 for it.
Definitely play Berseria. It’s great.

Third on Berseria. Its cast is probably one of my favorites in the entire series, and the story is pretty decent to boot.
I've finally started playing a Tales game, after putting it off for ages.
I'm up to Hellawes in Bersaria, and I had a question I was unable to find an answer to via google.
Are there any issues with making multiple save files in the PC version of Bersaria?
I've been just making a new save each time I save, but I know some games can have issues with load times if you do that too much.
"But if that happened, Melia might actually be happy. We can't have that." - Handsome RobSo.
I got some tragic news. Unshō Ishizuka, voice of Edward/Trinicus D Morrison in Phantasia and more importantly, Eugene Gallardo in Tales Of Rebirth, has sadly passed away.
Wow.
I've heard this in the One Piece thread, the Pokemon thread, and the Jojo thread (he voiced Admiral Kizaru, Professor Oak, and old Joseph Joestar respectively).
And he was also Heihachi's second voice actor as well.
Dude was everywhere wasn't he?
One Strip! One Strip! He was in Gundam Unicorn too and I swear it was listed that he was the dub voice for Captain Price too.
So, I'm playing more Tales of Phantasia and am up to the Moria Mines. This place is misery. There's a rather high encounter rate and the encounters not only have lots of enemies, they're filled with enemies that have absurdly high HP. I got the other three Summon Spirits and my part level is 23 so I don't think I'm under leveled but I'm finding myself running from fights a lot now simply because I don't have the resources to take all of these guys out in a reasonable amount of time.
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book!I'm pretty sure the mines are just That One Level.
Oissu! So some slightly less downer news but still kinda unfortunate
Yuka Imai (Rutee's VA and I love her for that) has officially announced her retirement from voice acting so she can focus on taking care of her son.
My attempt at playing the original SMT is probably going to be bunk, so I might return to Tales of Phantasia PSX.
Speaking of Phantasia... Has anyone read the few translated chapters of Katararezu Rekishi?
Soo, at the very beginning of Phantasia. In the scene where Dhaos gets blasted by Indignation, you can see that there is an archer lady who is knocked out.
Katararezu Rekishi tells the story of that lady, whose name is Winona.
I was always kinda curious about that whole scene so before checking it out, anyone got an opinion on that novel?
"Death's vastness holds no peace. I come at the end of the long road—neither human, nor devil... All bends to my will." -Demifiend.I didn't even know that was a thing until now.
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book!None of the To P novels have been translated I'm afraid. Which is a shame, because the Shinku no Hitomi, aka the Arche novel, kind of had my curiosity for a while.
Phantasia had like, around six novels to supplement the game, which covered... a lot, IIRC.
Winona has been retconned by Rondoline now, along with many details that NDX changed.
"If you aren't him, then you apparently got your brain from the same discount retailer, so..." - FighteerI always found that a little weird because, even in the version of Phantasia that ties into Narikiri Dungeon X. She still shows up in the intro scene where Dhaos is blasted by Indignation.
"Death's vastness holds no peace. I come at the end of the long road—neither human, nor devil... All bends to my will." -Demifiend.I guess Namco were always kinda crap with consistency?
Or maybe it's just that Rondoline is a continuity screwing Mary Sue.
Sorry, not sorry Mighty.

A rose by any other name would smell as sweet Unless I grew it. In that case, throw it in the trash.
The Magic Goes Away means demons come back and kill all the humans regardless.
Because Humans Are Special (At being Humans Are the Real Monsters) and everything else has to die for their self-satisfied egos.
