I literally cannot aim with sticks, at all, so the pointer controls were a godsend.
Trans rights are human rights.Little late to the party, but I'd like to point out the former Retro dev mentioned last page hasn't worked at the company for over a decade. His insight probably means jack.
Also if Skyward Sword can get a Switch port with alternate controls then so can Prime 3.

If a tree falls in the forest and nobody remembers it, who else will you have ice cream with?Yeah Skyward Sword is much more tied to the motion controls than Corruption is.
You know, I have to wonder why Pit is obsessed with this site. It’s gonna ruin his life!I thought the pointer controls for Prime 1 + 2 were wonderful.
The motion controls for 3 were fine for me, but I'll acknowledge both times I've played though 3 I was playing with a comfortable couch + TV setup.
I've had to play other games with motion/pointer controls when I've had a suboptimal console + TV setup. And that can make it much more annoying to do.
I've seen some speculation that the lack of a Prime Trilogy port is more because of a sense of timing than anything else. I don't think anything backs it up. But it does make sense to me the idea Nintendo would potentially want to release a port of Trilogy 6 months to a year before Prime 4 to build interest.
The only misfire they did on the trilogy was bringing back those Friendship Token credits for unlocks. That was an awful idea and if they do another trilogy port, they need to DROP THOSE IMMEDIATELY.
I'd like if they made the credits system more integrated into Prime 1 and 2 as well.
You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique!Feeling good about today's E3 direct when it comes to potential Metroid news.

"We're all paper, we're all scissors, we're all fightin' with our mirrors, scared we'll never find somebody to love."YEEEEESSSSSSS
Hell yeah.
Dread is finally real.
Looks more survival-horror-y which should be neat.
You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique! The robot is called E.M.M.I.
Also there's a green robot
And a living Chozo breathed for like 1 second before the trailer moved on
I do writing, feel free to check out my stories here! https://numbugwritingblog.tumblr.com/post/686233243868102656/numbugs-shared-heroic-uniI wonder if it’s finally a sequel to Fusion.
A METROID GAME FINALLY SET AFTER FUSION
I'VE BEEN WAITING FOR ACTUAL DECADES FOR THIS AAAAAAH
Finally happening after all these years. They sure have made us Dread the idea that they'll never move forward for so long.
There's a special edition with a Steelcase, art book, and holographic art cards in Europe.
"We're all paper, we're all scissors, we're all fightin' with our mirrors, scared we'll never find somebody to love."Oh love the atmosphere, truly inspired by Fusion.
I'll teach you a lesson about just how cruel the world can be. That's my job, as an adult.Man, I remember 14 years ago when Prime 3 had an Easter Egg referencing Metroid Dread and folks exploded thinking it was a sequel hint until it turned out to just be a reference.

I’m 84% sure this is an ascended meme.
"Any campaign world where an orc samurai can leap off a landcruiser to fight a herd of Bulbasaurs will always have my vote of confidence"It's kinda weird how they keep saying, "this is the first 2D Metroid in 19 years" when they've got Samus Returns right there, and they're taking cues from it. I assume they mean "on home consoles," but they could've said that.
First fully original 2D Metroid in 19 years.
Clearly they don't mean "on home consoles" because the last 2D Metroid on home consoles was Super Metroid, 27 years ago.

Samus Returns is just a remake, while this is the first new original game

Silence is golden, noise is platinum. Keelah se'laiReally expanding on that SA-X concept. Which was great, but I don't know how it'll be if Emmi appears a lot more frequently.
Holy flying fuckballs, they actually went and did it. (Also, "first new 2D Metroid in 19 years" thanks for making me feel like an old man, Nintendo)
From the Treehouse: It looks like there are multiple EMM Is and they patrol specific areas. Also, instant Game over if they catch you
I'm one of the old-school purists that prefer the legacy Gamecube-style control scheme for Prime.
