@Goku and VA: IMDB can be edited by anyone. I remember last year in Overwatch when fans wanted Doomfist be voiced by Terry Crews, some guy edited Terry Crews in the IMDB page of OW and it was totally fake

We were having IMDB problems when 4 was being developed. This isn't a new thing for Smash.

Took a look at it just now, and it does seem that David Vincent is reprising his role as Richter Belmont.

Its weird that I am liking Richter more than Simon despite playing Simon's games but not Richter's.

Also wanted to share a few more polls from some popular sites. If you consider the Japanese poll i posted a while back, you will see some familiar faces in the top 10

It's amazing how Bandana Waddle Dee appears in all 5 of those lists. And manages to be in the Top 3 in 2/5 of those lists. Calling it now, his reveal trailer has a remix of his theme song. (Yes, Bandana Waddle Dee has his own theme song, I guess that's just how prominent the little guy's become.)

It's almost bizarre that the roster we are getting isn't even the final version thanks to DLC, considering just how good it is.

I would not be so certain about DLC. The way they're marketing the game is such that I feel there won't be any, and if there is it won't be very much.

Basically, there'll probably be some, but don't count on it.

Personally, I'm just glad that Steve? doesn't appear on any of those 5 polls.

Or they might double down and use this game as a building block for more content.

As Sakurai has said, this will be one hard game to one-up with a sequel.

Xenoblade X is so far unrelated to Xenoblade 1.

Xenoblade 1 and Xenoblade 2 happen at the same time in two parallel universes.

"Chronicles" is an American/Europe suffix for the franchise.

Oh, Rex and Shulk do meet up at some point.

Ok, after multiple people said that how Xenoblade 2 connects to 1 was a major spoiler, WHY would you post it unmarked?

Because Nintendo spends as much effort hiding it as they hide Mechon Fiora.

And it's not even that big of a spoiler anyway. unless you point out it is a spoiler in the first place.

I suppose it's more of the nature by which those two separate universes are connected is the main spoiler in that respect, at any rate.

Welk, the roster was finalized in 2015. That would mean either Corrin or Inklings are the most recent characters.

Didn't Sakurai basically pick Greninja based entirely on concept art? What do you think are the chances he did the same for another character from a more recent game?

No, it's said the first planned draft was finished in 2015, which is quite different from final roster.
