YMMV / Zack Morris is Trash

• Hilarious in Hindsight:
  • The episode "The Time Zack Morris Was A Scumbag Politician For A Free Vacation", was posted just three days before the announcement of a Saved by the Bell sequel series, in which Zack becomes the governor of California and closes down several low-income schools.
  • The entire series becomes this when it was reported that Dashiell Driscoll, the writer and creator, would be writing for the Saved by the Bell sequel series, which as mentioned above, has Zack acting closer to his ZMIT characterization.
• Iron Woobie: Let's throw Screech a bone; he hasn't fucking killed himself. While Zack finds new ways to torment him time and again, he always finds a way to bounce back, even from the insanity of Season 4.
• They Wasted a Perfectly Good Plot: Fans repeatedly asked for the series to also cover Zack's behavior in Saved by the Bell: The College Years as he's still pretty scummy there as well. Unfortunately, due to either apathy or clearance rights of the show, they never did.
• The Woobie: Screech, the show's most frequent victim of Zack's machinations. The entire fourth season is centered around Screech. The last episode of that season straight-up accuses Zack of driving Screech to the point of insanity.
