• Continuity Lockout: Not intimately familiar with Yu-Gi-Oh! ARC-V? You will be very, very lost.
• Creepy Awesome: Kiryu is equipped with Doc Ock Combat Tentacles that have an AI similar to that of puppies and he coos over them like they were his children.
• Realism-Induced Horror: The story also reflects many of the horrors found in WandaVision over depression, grief and not being able to work with one's emotions as Yuya clearly hiding everything with smiles is not only hurting him but everyone else.
• Tear Jerker: Yoko Sakaki crying at the end of seeing the Girl from Nowhere episode "Lost and Found" (which is the angsty episode of the series) as it reflects her life. She fell in love with Yusho and he just vanished from her life without any reasoning.
  • Kiryu having a panic attack, fearing that his rescue and budding relationship with Yusei is just a hallucination he's having on the way to being executed.
• Unexpected Character:
  • Yusho is hanging out with Mokuba, Yugi, Katsuya and Honda when watching what's going on in his home dimension.
  • The Knights of Hanoi (and presumably Takeru) are also trying to figure out what's going on.
  • In the Synchro Dimension, Yliaster with Z-One (a converted Yusei Fudo) and Kiryu Kyosuke take center stage.
