- Inspiration for the Work: The author notes that she has seen a lot of fanfics where Zarc wins and ends up breaking his counterparts with the most sadistic punishments going for Yuya. She instead wanted to see a story where Yuya used Zarc's powers for his own use. She also saw WandaVision as the MCU version of Silent Hill and wanted to do her own take on the show.
- Throw It In!: The reason why Kiryu is sprouting Combat Tentacles is because the Discord friend the author was working with just randomly wrote that he suddenly had "Doc Ock tentacles" and Green Phantom Queen just rolled with it.
