• Moral Event Horizon: Mizuki can be seen as crossing this when she reports Kei to the authorities for the possibility of possessing a Vision underneath the Vision Hunt Decree. The same decree that has left many, many people a shadow of their former selves. And she knowingly reported a child for this while also implying that his obsession with Liyue's Geo Archon may have a negative influence towards other children because it could be seen as going against the Raiden Shogun.
• Realism-Induced Horror:
  • Another parent, one that Chibana has personal beef with, literally reported Kei to the authorities for the possibility of possessing a Vision. Kei who is a five year old boy and the classmate of her own daughter who is the same age.
  • Chibana lets go of Kei's hand for a minute to try and find money to pay for their food; that is enough time for Kei to slip away from her unnoticed and then get lost in the crowd right afterwards. When the single mother realizes that Kei is gone... she doesn't take it well.
  • In the aftermath of an appendectomy, Chibana can no longer look after Kei due to having to recover from the operation. She is essentially forced to rely on Kei's father, Zhongli, to look after her son when he is just barely above being stranger to her despite having conceived a child together.
