Though this is a heartwarming story about familial relationships between mother and son, that doesn't mean that there are no awesome moments in the story.
You've Got My Eyes
- The fact that five year old Kei can produce gemstones and rocks. At five years he is capable of making gemstones and rocks such as diamonds and cor lapis.
- Chibana not hesitating to rip into everyone in the principal's office when she finds out that her former best friend had reported Kei to the school and the Commission for the possibility of possessing a Vision. When they try to interrogate Kei and search her house, the angry mother is not having any of it and tells everyone off. Had she not been stopped by another parent, she would have punched Mizuki for insulting her for not knowing the identity of Kei's father.
- When Mizuki insults Kei for pushing her daughter Rin even though the little girl had brought it onto herself for annoying Kei to a breaking point by saying he'll be arrested by the Commission, Chibana turns the table on her former friend by saying that Rin is acting out because of Mizuki's Awful Wedded Life and that rather than trying to find fault with Kei, she should perhaps be paying attention to her daughter. And just before she leaves, she tells Mizuki to say hi to her husband and her husband's secretary, leaving the woman screaming and ranting about the audacity of her works as Chibana leaves without another word.
