• Harsher in Hindsight: Back when voting began for the seventh member of the new X-Men team a lot of X-Factor fans were annoyed that Polaris was on the voting block since that would take her away from the team and possibly cut her character arc short. With the news that X-Factor was ending prematurely at the Hellfire Gala, the new X-Men team was now, rather ironically, the only way to continue Polaris' story.
