• Complete Monster: The Wolf is an online predator who sums up the trope this short is named after very well, attracting his victims to him by appearing to be friendly at first. However, in reality, he is nothing more than just a Serial Killer who has lured at least four sheep to him in the past, and kept their heads as masks to lure more unsuspecting prey. He eventually finds a 16-year-old girl online named Lena and manipulates her into agreeing to come meet him on the following Saturday, with her unknowingly becoming his fifth potential victim, and likely the youngest.
• Realism-Induced Horror: Ignoring the anthropomorphic aspect and while the Serial Killer aspect may not be that common, the Wolf is a scarily realistic example of the dangers of online predators. The way he lies about details about himself like his age to gain the trust of Lena, and offers to meet up with her is much like online predators when they lure unsuspecting victims, not to mention a pretty common target for predators online are children and Lena is supposed to be around 16 years old.
