- Fandom Rivalry: The premise has a lot of similarities to Killing Stalking due to the violent, mysterious Sungho and the physically weakened/restrained Dohyun. Both have the same genre tags: Adult, Drama, Horror, Mature, Psychological, Yaoi. The similarities end there, however.
- Iron Woobie: Dohyun's reaction to being imprisoned, raped, and threatened, is to sit back and figure out how to escape from his situation. According to the author, this is because he thinks "kicking and screaming won't do anything".
