- Complete Monster: Hồ Tinh is the most sadistic and vile of the man-eating monsters faced by Lạc Long Quân. Using his shapeshifting powers to trick people into entering his cave, Hồ Tinh would torture them before killing and eating them, preferring to target children in some versions of the story. After Lạc Long Quân goes to stop him, Hồ Tinh tries to murder him too.
