• Hilarious in Hindsight: People aware of how I Dream of Jeannie was a derivative of Bewitched, especially given the similiarities of their main characters, Jeannie and Samantha Stephens respectively, might be amused of how the former's star Barbara Eden guest-starred on this show (in "The Brazos Kid") as a character named Samantha Fry.
  • In the episode "Man of Violence" DeForest Kelley appeared as a hard-drinking cavalry doctor. His patient (who does not survive the episode) was played by Leonard Nimoy.
• Retroactive Recognition: David Hartman would later become well-known as the original host of the ABC morning program Good Morning America.
