• Creepy Awesome: The opening scene can best be described as such. The way DeVoe tears through the A.R.G.U.S. guards is utterly terrifying...but the fact that he uses his powers in unique ways, combined with the excellent camera direction and proper use of special effects make it an extremely visually appealing sequence that was widely praised.
• Crosses the Line Twice: The iconic scene in A.R.G.U.S. dances back and forth over the line for two minutes straight, with moments that include squashing a guard like an ant, making Handel's Hallelujah Chorus play in the background In-Universe, and using a toy marble to make a guard trip and fall. It's as morbid and terrifying as it is unexpectedly hilarious.
• Signature Scene: DeVoe's assault on the A.R.G.U.S. facility is quite an iconic and memorable scene.
• Tough Act to Follow: The opening scene of DeVoe slaughtering A.R.G.U.S. agents was perceived as so awesome that the rest could not hold a candle to that scene.
