- Heartwarming Moments: One episode of the 1971 anime revolves around Brainy Baby Hajime-chan having his first words. The first word Bakabon hears him speak is "Nii-chan!" It freaks him out at first and he calls Papa into the room to hear Hajime-chan talk, and he says to Bakabon, "Nii-chan suki." Bakabon responds by giggling and blushing.
- I Knew It!: A number of fans already knew that the first episode of the 2018 Anime will be filled with copyrighted references since Osomatsu-san's "Osomatsu-Kun returns" Episode., though the parodies are very minor in this Episode.
