- Growing the Beard: The tighter gameplay, new character roster, and generally more polished feel means that this is largely considered when Tekken started getting really good.
- Polished Port: The PS1 port was one of the most popular games on the console for a reason. New characters, Tekken Ball and Tekken Force, and an (optional) re-arranged OST, all while the gameplay was ported over perfectly. The only drawback is that the visuals were slightly downgraded (particularly in the backgrounds, which are 2D in the PS1 version), but even with that it's still one of the best looking games on the console, and it runs at a full 60FPS to boot.
