• Unintentional Period Piece: The film revolves around an ex-convict taking on the identity of a businessman after casually finding his missing Filofax, a type of personal organizer popular among yuppies in The '80s. The year 1990 (the year the film was released) was virtually the last year using it as such a plot device might've been relevant, as its functions would be gradually suplanted by electronic organizers in The '90s, personal digital assistants (PDAs) in the '00s, and smartphones from The New '10s onwards.
