• Draco in Leather Pants: Some fans are rather defensive of Tyson's blatant bullying of Sierra. This is mainly due to Sierra allegedly being harder to live with than the edit showed, and Tyson being more likable in his return seasons.
• Fountain of Memes: Coach's antics and Tyson's arsenal of insults.
• Unpopular Popular Character: Sierra and Erinn were widely disliked on their tribes, but were more popular among viewers. Both were underdogs, and Erinn was appreciated for her Deadpan Snarker while many sympathized with Sierra's status as The Woobie.
• The Woobie: Regardless of her apparently benefiting from some Manipulative Editing, some of the abuse Sierra receives is impossible to justify and hard to watch.
