• Tear Jerker: The second to last scene of "Parkeerstress" is of the stressmannetje being left at home. He stands all alone in the street, staring in shock as his companion heads out by bus without him. All of the stressmannetje's misfortune before was funny because of his reactions, but this isn't at all a funny reaction. It's telling that a corresponding scene was omitted from "Stadsbeleving".
• The Woobie: The stressmannetje is stressed because of the unceasing inconveniences that come with not using a bus. It's also intentionally invoked in the response short, which showcases the stressmannetje in tears after being abused by the host of Volt. Public sympathy for the stressmannetje's plight made the program's host apologize for his actions.
