• Ensemble Dark Horse: Jango's first bounty — Black Sun Vigo Antonin, for being civilized, witty, and the epitome of Face Death with Dignity.
• Harsher in Hindsight: Jango and Zam's relationship is at their highest in this book series, which makes their only interaction in their theatrical film, in which she tries to sell him out and he kills her in response, a much harder pill to swallow.
• Moral Event Horizon: Ashaar Khorda and his group crosses it with their plan to use "The Infant of Shaa" to destroy the Republic Capital planet of Coruscant, striving to kill billions of people to damage a government they find corrupt. Both Jango and Zam, who aren't particularly fond of the Republic, are horrified when they find this out.
