  • Captain Picard disables a terrorist using a Vulcan Neck Pinch. The guy who gets pinched? He's played by Tim Russ, who would later star in Star Trek: Voyager as Vulcan Security Chief Tuvok.
  • This episode is pretty much Die Hard on the Enterprise, and many years later, Tim Russ had a minor part in Live Free or Die Hard.
  • In this "Die Hard" on an X, Patrick Stewart’s character is in the John McClane role. Four years later, he’d play the Hans Gruber role.
