• Les Yay: Seven's sense of betrayal from Bjayzl is extremely personal, with the exact nature of their prior relationship left unsaid. It's also implied that Bjayzl let her escape despite the incredible value of her Borg parts, and she's one of the few to call Seven by her original name, Annika.
• Narm:
  • The name Bjayzl is utterly ridiculous, and it belongs to the cold, calculating, terrifying villain of a very dark episode.
  • Michael Chabon's Medium article describing Freecloud is an absurdly self-indulgent piece puffing up an apparently hypercompetent anarcho-capitalist enclave in Star Trek, that then unintentionally implies that the only real reason it's able to exist between the Klingons and Romulans unmolested is because it's a de facto protectorate of the quasi-socialist Federation.
• Narm Charm: Picard's French accent. Deliciously over-the-top.
  Picard: I thought I looked (puts on Maurice Chevalier Accent) appropriately sinisterrrrr.
  Raffi: No comment.
• Squick: You'd be hard-pressed to find a gorier scene in the franchise than Icheb's eye being pulled out in the teaser. It's just nasty.
