• Harsher in Hindsight:
  • The subplot of Fox's dilemma over what to do with showing Muhammad on television is this after the 201 censorship from several years later.
  • The driver that helps Kyle get to Los Angeles claims "At least it's not all preachy and up its own ass with messages, you know?" in regards to Family Guy. Family Guy would, in fact, become associated with being a show that's "all preachy and up its own ass with messages" thanks to the episodes like "Not All Dogs Go to Heaven", which is just considered Seth MacFarlane shoving his thoughts on religion down viewers' throats.
• Hilarious in Hindsight: Cartman is joined in his quest to get Family Guy off the air by none other than Bart Simpson (or at least an expy of him), who is just as vocal of his hatred for the show ("I hate Family Guy). This becomes especially amusing come The Simpsons Guy, an official crossover between the two shows, in which, among other things, Bart strikes up a friendship with Stewie.
