• Adorkable: In Chapter 1, after hearing Cang Shu say she was interested in her, Qi Lin sits next to her on the bus and gives her a milk box. Before that though she exercises to ease her awkwardness and has a Luminescent Blush when she hands over the aforementioned milk box.
• Moe: Qi Lin comes across particularly adorable in Chapter 5, when she is on the receiving end of Cang Shu’s kabedon and her Chinese misspelling of the former’s words. Her other notes are precious as well.
• The Woobie: When Qi Lin is telling Cang Shu how surprised she is that she memorized her grades she admits that she was surprised somebody actually cared about her because even her parents don’t.
  Qi Lin: I didn’t know somebody would actually care about me! Even my own parents don’t like me…
• Woolseyism: This manhua is originally Chinese but the English Fan Translation went the extra mile with the note Qi Lin wrote down.
  Qi Lin’s note:
  Chang Shu said,
  "Can't cross the line,
  "Can’t presure people,
  "and forse them over eges."
  Translator's Note: For the raws, the word for "enough is enough" is "duo duo xiang bi 咄咄相逼", [but] Qi Lin sucks at Chinese so she actually doesn't know how to write the characters for "duo duo" but wrote them as pinyin ^{In Chinese} 苍舒说：不能过火，不能dūo dūo相逼, which is why there are spelling errors in the notes.)
