- Base-Breaking Character: You either think Kei is interesting and likeable or find his philosophy masochistic and self-defeating.
- Better on DVD: The anime's slow pace made it ill-suited to a weekly broadcast schedule. Bingeing several episodes or even the whole show in a short time period makes it much more enjoyable.
- Memetic Mutation: Misora is a disguised android. Even other characters note how unnatural and eerie her speech and behavior are.
- Memetic Loser: We have a girl capable of instantly erasing what she orders, and at the same time another heroine, whose ability is to ... turn into a ghost after death.
- Narm:
- Just try to view the whole fourth episode with a serious face, when the characters will start to agitated discuss about mystery MacGuffin as it some Serious Business, although neither the protagonists nor the viewer at all know what it is. With every mention of this word, everything becomes more and more narmy.
