Unfortunately for her, by the time the memo arrived, the episode had already been shot and was in the midst of post-production, went on to win an international Emmy Award, and is still regarded as one of the best episodes among fans.
• Harsher in Hindsight: Rimmer's comments about Lister having sex with a seventeen year old ballgirl in the AR machine became this following Craig Charles' rape accusation, (though 16 is the age-of-consent in the UK). However, due to the accusation, some broadcasts decided to cut the scene in question, though for the most part they were later re-instated after Charles was acquitted.
