• Awesome Art: All the cover pages that the author made for the story are very well-drawn.
• Harsher in Hindsight: The library burns down in one chapter, only to be restored to perfect condition the next. Too bad they couldn't pull that trick in the Season 4 finale...
• Nightmare Fuel:
  • Celestia trying to kill the Predacons in a slow and painful manner.
  • Twilight's Heroic BSoD can count as this, especially seeing as she's in a corner with no lights.
  • Pinkie Pie coming across Tarantulas in Derpy's basement, with not only Derpy strung up but Dinky and Amethyst.
  • During the fourth chapter, Carousel Boutique gets attacked by Dinobot II. While Rarity is holding off the Predacon, Sweetie Belle runs away and tries desperately to find help even though everypony she meets is scared. Blackarachnia on the other hand...
  • Imagine if there was an attack on the capital of your nation and the perpetrators may still be out there. Imagine if you had younger family members or friends unprotected. Congratulations, you're in the same position as Rarity, Applejack and Rainbow Dash.
