- Sequelitis: The film's production was a nightmare for James Cameron due to Executive Meddling to the extreme, it got negative reviews and bombed hard at the box office. Because of this, Cameron disowned the film for many years, instead claiming that The Terminator was his first feature length movie. He has since come around in recent years, stating it to be "the finest flying-piranha movie ever made".
