- Hilarious in Hindsight: Joel trying to convince the bots that the conflict of the movie could happen to them as two bits of irony to it: Not only does it wind up not being a concern to him due to him managing to escape next season, but the closest the SOL ever got to experiencing it would've been in the movie... had that host segment never got cut.
- Special Effects Failure: As part of the "Great Crowdini" segment, Crow is hung upside down from the ceiling. It doesn't take a sharp eye to realize they had swapped the puppet's eyes out with a non-moving pair so they wouldn't fall out.
- Similarly, as Joel is holding Crow's disembodied head at the start of the Invention Exchange, his mouth is being yanked to the left as he speaks, and while his eyes are moving side to side, they aren't looking upward at any point.
