• Accidental Innuendo:
  • The "Science of Magic" short includes a sequence where Sunset is monitoring Rainbow Dash from a sealed room, but Rainbow's magic filters down her guitar cable and gets Sunset through her computer monitor. And it does this in a burst of rainbow liquid that explodes in Sunset's face and drips down the window. The imagery comes off as very suggestive.
  • From "A Banner Day", Flash Sentry apparently wrote a song called "Love in a Flash". Really, Flash?
• Ensemble Dark Horse: Fan-art for the rocker student with his eyes usually out of sight, dubbed "Valhallen" by fans, has skyrocketed since his eyes were shown in "Photo Finished".
• Genius Bonus: In the "Pinkie Spy" short, when Pinkie shows off her bright pink camo outfit, Rainbow tells her that it's the "opposite of camouflage". Camouflage suits are most commonly green and what is green's exact opposite on the color spectrum? Pink.
