• Big-Lipped Alligator Moment: The eyeballs room in the attic, which is accessible after collecting the 3rd tape. Unlike other secrets in the game, it doesn't reference anything nor is it even tied to the lore of the game. It just... exists.
• Fridge Horror: At least, only in the original release of the game, where in the "Escape Artist" ending, Ruby could be accused for murdering her own parents with a gun by the police after their investigation while Mr. Hopp just returns to his harmless plush form like nothing ever happened.
• Narm: Mr. Hopp's spider form is way too silly.
• The Woobie: Ruby. The poor little girl is being hunted by her evil toy bunny, and that's only the start of her problems. By the end of the game, no matter what ending you get, her life is ruined and she becomes an orphan similar to her late grandmother, Esther.
