- Captain Obvious Aesop: Understandably for children media, many chapters end on Marie giving one of Stock Aesops, regardless of how significant they were to the earlier problem. For example, after Miriya gets tired after successfully designing a new dress for a fashion show, the chapter wraps up with a message of importance of watching own health.
- Tear Jerker:
- When Miriya meets Duchess and Marie early in the manga, she starts to cry due to both characters reminding her of her parents absence. Happily, Marie cheer her up by giving her a crystal ball so Miriya can interact with her mother and father more often.
- Once Marie finishes training Miriya on becoming a witch. Miriya then asks Marie "Does this mean we won't see each other again?". Marie reacts to Miriya's question by sadly remaining silent.
