• Catharsis Factor: The cutscene depicting Wei Long's death, via having his medulla oblongata ripped out is one of the goriest moments in the game, but it's also the most satisfying since it was after the revelation of his involvement in destroying Zixu's life, and countless others, in his pursuit for power. It's impossible not to smile seeing the scummy mob leader gradually losing his Smug Snake nature and panicking when Zixu graphically wrings his nape open (onscreen!).
• Complete Monster: Wei Long is protagonist Xiang Zixu's personal nemesis and the man responsible for ruining Xiang's life, arranging for an accident that leaves Xiang nearly dead, Xiang's wife reduced to a wheelchair-bound cripple, and Xiang's little daughter killed, which Wei Long shows absolutely no remorse over. Escaping the authorities thanks to his lawyers, Wei Long allies himself with Tompson Technologies as their main supplier of Human Resources, arranging for the entire population of the rural Ditch Village to be used for their experiments, with thousands of subjects suffering plenty of Body Horror and losing their sapience into becoming feral, mindless monstrosities, even having rivals in the Triads and his own failed minions captured to be delivered for experiments. As Xiang confronts Wei Long one last time, Wei Long mocks him over his dead daughter while threatening he will make Xiang's handicapped wife suffer an even worse death.
• Moral Event Horizon: Wei Long ruining Xiang Zixu's life in the backstory and escaping scot-free thanks to his lawyers is already pretty heinous, but later on it's revealed that he is behind the entire population of Ditch Village being wiped out and used as Human Resources, which easily puts him way beyond the horizon.
• Wheelchair Woobie: Xiang Zixu's wife, Wenjun, who's confined in a wheelchair due to her spine snapping in the same accident that claimed her daughter's life five years ago.
