• Better Than Canon: Many viewers hold this opinion towards this series due to, among other things, its extensive use of Arc Welding to make the Ace Attorney world feel more alive, compared to the official games' insistence on not spoiling earlier installment plot points in later games; working Lana into modern era storylines, whereas canon just forgot about her; and providing a solid in-universe justification for Vera's trial, and only that trial, using a jury, as opposed to canon just silently sweeping the introduction of juries under the rug from Dual Destinies onwards instead of addressing why it was undone.
