• Character Rerailment: Reika's characterization in this special is much more in line with her character pre-Flanderization in Saber, with her being a calm, observant and incredibly skilled swordswoman.
• Fan-Disliked Explanation: The in-universe reason given for Kanon not being able to transform into a Rider is that her brother thought the situation was too dangerous and stole her Eyecon. Fans called it out for being incredibly stupid and painting Makoto as giving his sister an almost Stay in the Kitchen attitude without even being in the special.
• Retroactive Recognition: Ayane Nagabuchi, who plays Yuriko, would later land herself a role in a major Hollywood production playing a supporting character in Tetris (2023).
• They Wasted a Perfectly Good Character: While fans liked Ms. Titan and Black Tackle well enough there are some who wish the connection to Kamen Rider Stronger and Black Satan's history was a little stronger. The name "Black Satan" is only mentioned once and if you don't know your Kamen Rider history you'd have no idea they're supposed to be The Remnant of a former Rider enemy group. Yuriko's name and Tackle outfit being similar to the original Tackle is just seemingly a coincidence. Granted there isn't a need for a huge Rider history lesson in a special about the heroines of the franchise, but a call back or acknowledgement of Rider's first heroine would have been nice.
