YMMV / Kamen America

Go To

  • Anvilicious: Kamen America's writer is not at all subtle about the comics' right leaning conservative themes or his disdain for the left leaning topics that crop up in the series.
    • The early books cover Carley's backstory with a rather obnoxious Straw Feminist teacher who constantly pushed her politics on her female students and ends up literally dying alone and homeless due to her "radical political actions."
    • Later villain group the Zenerengers are Villain with Good Publicity who are a diverse and multi national hero team claiming to want to help the world and stop the threat of alien robots that seemingly are attacking earth due to pollution, only to reveal the robots are their own creation as a ploy to push their "climate agenda." When Kamen America attempts to expose this she's slandered and declared a lunatic conspiracy theorist. Subtle is not this comics' middle name.
  • Does This Remind You of Anything?: A plot where a seemingly globalist team of false superheroes are manufacturing disasters and alien robot attacks supposedly being caused by "light pollution" in a ploy to push a radical climate agenda and the conservative all american hero is declared a lunatic conspiracy theorist for trying to expose it. All Kamen America is missing at this point is a red hat.
