YMMV / Justice League vs. Suicide Squad

• Base-Breaking Character: Killer Frost, due to the fact she's set to be a major player in the event and is going to be a part of the new JLA, some people are okay with it and feel this will be interesting development, while others think it makes no sense because Killer Frost has only recently joined the Suicide Squad, and fear this might be just be Character Shilling. After Issue 2 of the event fans became even more divided after Killer Frost single-handedly takes out the League through something she didn't even know she could do.
• Broken Base: Being yet ANOTHER team vs team book in 2016 after several other events of varying qualities is considered by some to be extremely grating. Others are willing to give this book a chance as not only are the teams in question a squad of heroes and a squad of villains, but the actions of the Justice League and Suicide Squad do not fall into the same level of idiot and conflict balls the other series suffer from, nor any extreme character shilling.
• Unexpected Character: Emerald Empress, a major foe to the Legion of Super-Heroes, is among the bad guys assembled by Maxwell, along with Johnny Sorrow (a Starman and JSA bad guy), Lobo, Outsiders foe Rustam, and Doctor Polaris.
