• Harsher in Hindsight: The segment where Charlie Haas dumped Jackie after revealing he had an affair with Dawn Marie. They were married out of kayfabe at the time, but would divorce years later.
• Mis-blamed: Jackie really got a lot of hassle over the infamous match that got to bear her name as a Fan Nickname. It seems odd to lay all of the blame at her feet, and not at the company that put a rookie with twelve weeks of training (some of which were spent injured) in a match on live television. The fact that Jackie improved rather quickly within a year in OVW tends to be overlooked.
• Never Live It Down: "That Jackie Gayda Match", an infamous mixed tag match where Jackie and Christopher Nowinski faced Bradshaw and Trish Stratus. It was a complete botchfest and permanently stained Jackie's reputation even though she never had a match that bad again.
• Rescued from the Scrappy Heap: Her re-debut as Miss Jackie, the Perky Female Minion to Rico, helped redeem her in the eyes of many fans. It also coincided with a marked improvement in her ring skills, and being well utilized as a valet.
• They Wasted a Perfectly Good Plot: It's a shame that Jackie never had any meaningful storyline with Nidia - the winner of the first Tough Enough. Nidia took to wrestling very quickly, and had turned face shortly before Jackie and Rico were drafted to Smackdown. But Nidia was moved to Raw, and released before the year was over.
