- Harsher in Hindsight: It came out in 2001 and picked a pretty bad year to be a movie involving a plane crash and Middle Eastern terrorists kidnapping the President of the United States.
- Hilarious in Hindsight: The line, "Is there a doctor in the house?" McGann had already played the Doctor in the Doctor Who TV movie when the film came out, but now Capaldi is also the Doctor, there are actually two of them. Bradley Walsh, who would go to play one of the companions from the thirteen Doctor era, also plays a role in the movie.
