• Germans Love David Hasselhoff: The show is far more well known in Canada, probably because of its long run it had on Teletoon for several years after it was cancelled. Justified, as the show was co-produced by CHUM Television (now Bell Media), and was regularly aired to meet Canadian content requirements.
• Harsher in Hindsight: The theme songs last lines "Hey Joel, what do you know you've got you're own show, try not to blow it, 'cause if you're not funny, then you'll soon be gone." The show was cancelled after one season.
• Unfortunate Character Design: The style in general, but especially the celebrities.
