YMMV / Gundam Build Real

• Broken Base: Some fans like the direction it took while others derided it as being just another J-Drama but with a Gundam coat of paint.
• Special Effect Failure: Due to the limited budget the show's CGI can turn some people off. Though seeing as the CGI models are supposed to be hologram projections, this might be intentional.
• They Changed It, Now It Sucks!: Many fans didn't like that the show lacked unique custom Gunpla, something that previous Build series before Real uses as their big selling point. Thanks to the budget, the team had to find a way to work around this and that is by repainting or giving already existing Real Grades some minor cosmetic changes.
