YMMV / Gravity Circuit

  • Adorkable: Pat is so utterly endearing when he's fanboying over Kai. He might as well be the Kamala Khan to Kai's Carol Danvers.
  • Awesome Music: The soundtrack has quite a few gems on it.
    • Bit's theme, used for the Highway, is a Eurobeat affair right out of the 90s scene that fits the pace of the stage it appears for.
    • Ray's theme, used for the Steelworks, is a high-energy track with heavy elements and a backing channel reminiscent of the kind of machinery you'd find in a steel plant.
    • Medley's theme, used for the City Center, takes a slower pace but creates the atmosphere of a city-wide concert.
    • Deletion Duel, the Circuit boss theme, is a Eurobeat track that combines and remixes Kai's and the Circuits' motifs, with the relevant Circuit's motif appearing in the fight with them and adds to the excitement of dueling with the Rebel Circuits.
    • Legacy, Nega's battle theme, takes the character's motif and turns it into a track with the same energy as Kai's theme, fitting for the original Gravity Circuit.
    • Architecti, Audi Nos, the Final Boss theme, is a suitably dramatic theme, using a slow pace combined with heavy synths and Ominous Latin Chanting to create an imposing atmosphere.
  • Best Boss Ever: Nega, who serves as a Mirror Boss to Kai and uses the same bursts that he does, while also having his own unique tricks, providing a fitting and fun test to see if the new Gravity Circuit can surpass the original.
  • That One Boss:
    • Nega. He attacks quickly and erratically, and has a third phase with an extra health bar. The boss's difficulty does make sense, as you are quite literally fighting an alternate version of yourself.
    • The Final Boss is brutal even by the standards of the role. Three health bars, a small hurtbox, the ability to shield himself starting in phase 2, and has a variety of wide-hitting attacks that make reaching his hurtbox or poking him with the hookshot troublesome. Plus, you have to fight him right after a two-phase fight with Kernel, and the game does not take pity on you and let you skip that battle if you die during the final boss.
