- Adaptation Displacement: Almost nobody remembers the movie (and some didn't even know there was a movie to begin with, as it was released as direct-to-video), while the game is still remembered somewhat.
- It's Short, So It Sucks!: The game was heavily criticized for being so short, one could complete it in half an hour.
- That One Achievement: Getting some of the trophies, namely the one for getting all food in the levels where they're present, completing all exploration levels without Garfield sleeping even once, and getting all cues in the dance levels and hitting them with perfect timing for the score of 10.0 from all judges.
