• Tear Jerker: Episode 5: The deaths of Theo and Karen. What's even more tear breaking is that Hozuki tried to risk her life to save both of them, but Grande Rosso took control of the ship and forced Hozuki away from them to prevent the rescue because of a large probability of being shot down and killed.
• They Wasted a Perfectly Good Plot: Many fans felt that the last episode was rushed and didn't adequately resolve all of the dangling plot threads set up in the series.
  • The time travel aspects were also considered by some to be sorely underutilized (notably, only Hozuki is sent back) and nothing more to force in a Love Interest.
• Wangst: Kazuki basically breathes this in episode 3, with her constant "I'm jealous of my sisters" whining. She gets over it by the next episodes or so.
• The Woobie: Hozuki, with everything the poor girl has to go through (see the Tear Jerker entry above). She also wants Kazuki to like her, even though Kazuki thinks otherwise.
