• Adorkable: Jeff is really well liked among fans.
• Base-Breaking Character: Romy, in spades. Half the fandom finds her cute, lovable, and funny. The other half finds her irritating, unnecessary, poorly-written, and introduced into the story sloppily.
• Contested Sequel: Season 3. Some fans find it messy, dislike the endgame, and feel the absence of characters such as Max, Thea, and the Time Collectors outside of Frank had a negative impact on the show. Conversely, some fans actually prefer the direction and feel of season 3 to the first two and, if anything, wish the interesting elements of it had been introduced earlier.
• Fan-Preferred Couple:
  • Some fans found Lena had more chemistry and onscreen development with Max than she did with Henri, whom some perceive to be a Satellite Love Interest she spends most of the show apart from. Some even believe Lena/Max were the intended endgame, but that plans changed when Rory J. Saper left the show, leading to a Lena/Henri endgame.
  • A smaller amount of fans also preferred Lena with Nico, a secondary love interest introduced in season 3.
  • People also feel this way about Pinky/Ines and Thea/Frank over Frank/Ines.
• Foe Yay Shipping: Frank/Henri and Lena/Thea.
• Role Swap AU: It's not uncommon to see fans imagine versions of the show in which the actors swapped roles for fun (Rory J. Saper as Henri, Hannah Dodd as Lena, Jessica Lord as Thea, etc).
