YMMV / Feline Follies

Go To

  • Genre Turning Point: It's easy to take the cartoon for granted these days thanks to its slow pacing, loose narrative and stiff animation, but Feline Follies was considered a breakthrough in cartoon animation for its day, thanks in part to Otto Messmer's creativity and endowing Felix with a real personality, making him stand out considerably from other animated cartoons of the day.
  • Hilarious in Hindsight: Felix's original name in this cartoon was Tom, a name that would be taken up by another cartoon cat many years later.
