- Awesome Art: TC's artstyle is very soft and cute, almost reminiscent of Disney. Which makes the brutal fight scenes all the more jarring.
- Jerkass Woobie: It's heavily implied that Chara's bad attitude towards Frisk stems from jealousy and grief over the Dreemurrs having seemingly used Frisk to replace Chara.
- Unintentionally Unsympathetic: Despite their Jerkass Woobie status, it can be kind of hard to feel bad for Chara when the premise of the comic centers around them mentally torturing Frisk for the genocide run after Frisk had already become The Atoner. Not to mention them behaving like a petty Green-Eyed Monster whenever Frisk has a nice moment with their Family of Choice and later on trying to murder Asriel, so they can get his half of Frisk's soul.
- Why Fandom Can't Have Nice Things: Due to the negativity of the fanbase, TC has put the comic on hiatus since August 2019; comments about when the next page is coming out only furthering the delay.
