- Good Bad Bugs: The original loads both seed types off-screen and only makes them appear on-screen if you buy them. Making the window wider lets you drag them into the game for free, making spending coins on them, or even training if you use skill seeds, completely unnecessary.
- It's Easy, So It Sucks!: Almost every game is easily beatable if you train your duck enough. The only real exception is Duck Life Battle, where battling is slightly more luck-based than racing and equipment is more important to your success than how much you train your duck.
- Obvious Beta: The Retro Pack manages to have potentially more bugs than the originals. It has wonkier physics during training (you can pass through walls if you're fast enough), instances of placeholder lines getting used in place of intended ones, and turns the final race in World Champion optional. Even a new feature like Challenges doesn't seem to save your progress.
