• Alternative Character Interpretation: Rory's Taking the Bullet moment when he shoves the Doctor out of the line of fire. Was it a heat of the moment decision, or did Rory figure the blast would miss him too because he had just seen his future self in the last episode?
• Fridge Brilliance: When trying to keep her memories of Rory, Amy misremembers his death without the blast that killed him. Considering he has only just died, she probably isn't ready to think about his death, hence why the fatal blow is absent.
• Narm: Restac's response to seeing Alaya's dead body is to let out a long, soft wail that makes her sound less like she's lost a sister, and more like someone's just ruined her favourite outfit.
